Description
For sample persons aged 18 years and over, EHDCANTYPE indicates whether the respondent mentioned one or more types of cancer when asked what types of cancer the respondent thought may be related to the things people eat and drink.
Interviewers were instructed to mark all types of cancer mentioned by the respondent in the corresponding category, but not to probe for the possible kinds of cancer into which responses were categorized. Respondents could list more than one type of cancer.
