Description

For persons ages 18 and older who have confirmed diabetes, DIAMPUTEV reports whether the person has ever had an amputation of his or her toe, foot, leg, or part of a leg.

This question is complementary to AMPUTEV, which was asked of sample adults who do not have confirmed diabetes.

For persons who have had an amputation of all or part of both legs, please see DIAMPUT2EV and AMPUT2EV.
