Description
For sample persons ages 18 and older who do not have confirmed diabetes, AMPUTEV reports whether the person has ever had an amputation of his or her toe, foot, leg, or part of a leg.
This question is complementary to DIAMPUTEV, which was asked of adults who have confirmed diabetes.
For persons who have had an amputation of all or part of both legs, please see AMPUT2EV and DIAMPUT2EV.
