Description
For sample adults ages 22 and older who reported difficulty with walking or climbing steps, communicating, remembering, concentration, self-care, or doing errands alone, DEVDONSET reports whether those difficulties began before age 22.
According to the 2020 Survey Description, DEVDONSET was introduced in 2020 and sponsored by the Administration for Community Living (ACL) to "assist analysts who wish to identify adults with intellectual or developmental disability" (76).
Universe
- 2020 2021 2022: Sample adults age 22+ who reported having a lot of difficulty or could not do the following activities: walking (WALKDIF1BL1, WALKDIF5BL1); climbing steps (WALKDIF12ST1); walking or climbing steps (LAWALKCLIMDIF); communicating (LACOMDIFEGO); remembering, concentrating, remembering or concentrating (LAMEMCONDIF); self-care (LAWASHDRESDIF); or doing errands alone (DISERRANDP).
