Description

For persons who had at least one dental visit in the past two weeks, DENTPULL reports the number of visits in the past two weeks for tooth pulling/extractions.

This variable is asked as part of the Dental Care supplement. Information on tooth extractions was also collected in 1971 (see DENTEXTR.), but in quarters 1 and 2, extractions were not differentiated from other oral surgeries. Beginning in quarter 3 and in subsequent years, information on other oral surgeries is available in DENTSURG.
