Description

For all persons, DENTEXAM reports the number of visits in the past two weeks for a dental exam or x-ray.

This variable was asked as part of the Dental Care supplement. Beginning in 1983, information on visits for examinations and x-rays is reported separately in DENTEXAM2 and DENTXRAY.
