For sample adults aged 40 and over who had a chest x-ray in the past 12 months, CXRAY1YRYCAN reports whether the reason for the x-ray was to check for lung cancer, rather than for some other reason.
CXRAY1YRYCAN is part of a series of variables introduced in 2010 dealing with adult cancer.
