Description

CTSWKCHANYR indicates if the person stopped working, changed jobs, or made a major change in their work activities because of their carpal tunnel syndrome. This inquiry was directed at sample adults age 18 years and over who are currently employed (EMPSTATSA) or employed at some time in the past 12 months (EMPSTATWKYR) who reported having carpal tunnel syndrome in the past 12 months (CTSYR) who were first diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome at age 15 or older (CTS1STAGE),

Universe

  • 2010: Sample adults age 18+ who are currently employed or were employed at some time in the past 12 months, who reported having carpal tunnel syndrome in the past 12 months, and who were first diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome at age 15 or older or whose age at diagnosis was unknown.
