CTSWKCGOTEV indicates if the sample person ever received workers' compensation benefits for their carpal tunnel syndrome. This inquiry was directed at sample adults age 18 years and over who are currently employed (EMPSTATSA) or employed at some time in the past 12 months (EMPSTATWKYR) who reported having carpal tunnel syndrome in the past 12 months (CTSYR) who were first diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome at age 15 or older (CTS1STAGE).
