For persons who mentioned that they had any other mental disorder during the past 12 months (CMIOTMEN12 = 2) and whose doctor or health professional never gave a diagnosis of this other mental disorder but had ever used another technical or specific name to refer to the other disorder, CMIOTMDWC reports when the health professional first used this technical or specific name to refer to the person's other mental disorder.
This variable is part of the Mental Health Supplement in 1989 that collects information on the amount and distribution of mental illnesses, its effects in terms of disability and chronic impairments, and the kinds of services people receive.
