Description
For persons who mentioned that they had any other mental disorder(s) during the past 12 months (CMIOTMEN12 = 2) and whose doctor or health professional never gave a diagnosis for this other mental disorder but had ever used another technical or specific name to refer to this other mental disorder, CMIOTMDCALL reports the technical or specific name that the person's doctor or health professional used to refer to his or her other mental disorder.
This variable is part of the Mental Health Supplement in 1989 that collects information on the amount and distribution of mental illnesses, its effects in terms of disability and chronic impairments, and the kinds of services people receive.
