Description
For respondents age 17+ who ever smoked 100 cigarettes in their entire lives, who had ever smoked regularly and who smoke now, or who do not smoke now but stopped smoking regularly less than 1 year ago, CIGNICLEVR1 is a recoded version of CIGNICLEV and indicates the nicotine level of the brand respondent smoked most. In CIGNICLEVR1, nicotine levels are recoded into categories.

- 1978; 1980: Sample persons age 17+ in quarters 3 and 4 who ever smoked 100 cigarettes in their entire lives, who ever smoked regularly, and who smoke now or who do not smoke now but stopped smoking regularly less than 1 year ago.
