Description
For sample adults who were diagnosed with cancer in the past 10 years and who were working at a job or business immediately before the cancer diagnosis, CANSELFEMPL indicates whether the person was self-employed immediately before the diagnosis of cancer.

Universe
- 1992: Sample persons age 18+ in quarters 1 and 2 and in 2 weeks of quarter 3 who were ever diagnosed with one kind of cancer and were diagnosed in the past 10 years OR who were diagnosed with more than one kind of cancer and most recent cancer was diagnosed in the past 10 years AND who were working at a job or business immediately before the cancer diagnosis.
