Description
For sample females ages 40 and older who ever heard of a breast physical exam, but have not had a breast exam, or whose last breast exam was more than three years ago, BREXWHYNO3YR reports the most important reason the respondent has not had a breast exam ever or in the past three years. Possible reasons included: "procrastination/put it off", "didn't know I should", "not needed/not necessary", "cost too much", "no insurance coverage", "don't go to doctors", "don't have a doctor", "not recommended by doctor/doctor never said it was needed", "doctor said it wasn't need", "too embarrassing", "haven't had any problems", "fear", or "examine own breasts".
