Description
For respondents age 18 and over who reported ever smoking a bidi, this variable reports if the respondent smoked bidis at least 20 times in their entire life.
[show more]The 2000 and 2005 Field Representative's Manuals defined bidis as, "Flavored cigarettes from India, recently popular in the United States." This definition was not routinely shared with respondents.
