Description
For sample adults who had a balance or dizziness problem in the past 12 months (BALDIZYR) or who had at least one symptom of balance or dizziness problems in the past 12 months (BALSYMPTNO), this variable reports whether the person used the internet to learn about rehabilitation services or intervention programs for dizziness or balance problems.
This variable was part of the Sample Adult Balance Supplement, sponsored by the National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders.
Universe
- 2016: Sample adults 18+ who have ever had a problem with dizziness or balance and have had a problem with dizziness or balance in the past 12 months OR sample adults who have ever reported having a symptom of at least one specific dizziness or balance problem in the past 12 months.
