Description

For sample persons ages 18 and over who have ever had their blood tested for the AIDS virus infection, who got the results of their blood test, and who had a health professional talk with them about the AIDS virus when they received the results of their test, ATRESHPASK reports if the respondent asked questions about the information provided by the health professional.

Comparability

There are no comparability issues. Changes in survey design (e.g. quarters or subsamples) affect raw frequencies but do not affect comparability between samples. As always, data users should apply prescribed IPUMS NHIS weights.
