Description

For sample persons ages 18 and over who have ever had a blood test for the AIDS virus infection and got the results of the blood test and shared those results with anyone, ATRTOLDOTH reports if the person told someone other than a spouse, fiancée, sex partner, health professional, friend, clergy member, employer, or relative about the results of the test.

There are no comparability issues with this variable.

Universe

  • 1993: Half of sample persons age 18+ in quarters 3 and 4 (excluded from Y2K supplement) who have ever had blood tested for the AIDS virus infection and got the results of blood test and told anyone the results of last test.
