Description
For sample persons ages 18 and over who have ever had a blood test for the AIDS virus infection except for those who reported that their blood test was at a doctor/HMO, hospital/emergency room/outpatient clinic, military induction, immigration site, or at home health visit, ATCOUNBD reports if a health professional talked with the person about the transmission, prevention, or treatment of AIDS or about the meaning of the test at the time of their most recent test.
Universe
- 1994-1995: Half of sample persons age 18+ (excluded from Y2K supplement) who have ever had blood tested for the AIDS virus infection and who had last blood test at an AIDS clinic, community health clinic, employer-run clinic, STD clinic, family planning/prenatal clinic, other clinic, or other location (or for whom the location of the last test was unknown).
