Description
ALCSTOP reports if the person expects to ever drink again or has stopped permanently.
In 1983, this question was asked of sample persons ages 18 and over who have had twelve drinks in any year of their life, whose last drink was more than a year ago and who did not report having quit drinking or being an infrequent drinker. In 1988, this question was asked of sample persons ages 18 and over who have had twelve drinks in the past year and did not drink in the last two weeks.
