Description

For sample persons age 18 and over who ever had at least 12 drinks in any one year, ALCPINJR is a recoded version of two variables, indicating whether the respondent ever had an injury related to drinking (ALCPINJEV) and, if so, whether that injury occurred in the past year (ALCPINJYR).

ALCPINJR was part of a supplement on alcohol and health practices in 1983. Please use the IPUMS NHIS drop down menu and search functions for related variables.
