Codes and Frequencies
For sample persons ages 18 and over who have ever heard of AIDS, or reported the last time she/he saw, heard, or read something about AIDS, AINFOTHS reports if she/he mentioned a source, other than those already listed, from which she/he gets most of her/his information about AIDS. Sources listed include: TV, newspaper, brochures, clergy/church, doctor/HMO, company/industry clinic, hospital/ER/OP clinic, other clinic, magazines, medical journals, library, AIDS hotline, public health department, Red Cross/blood bank, radio, relative, friends, and school. Persons can mention more than one source of information about AIDS.
