Description

For sample persons ages 18 and over who have ever heard of AIDS, or reported the last time she/he saw, heard, or read something about AIDS, AINFMOTHC reports if she/he mentioned a clinic other than those already listed as a source where she/he would get more specific information about AIDS, if she/he wanted more information. Clinic types listed include doctor, HMO, company or industry, hospital, emergency room, and outpatient clinics. More than one source for more specific information about AIDS can be mentioned.

Comparability

Changes in survey design (e.g., quarters in which the supplement was collected) may affect raw frequencies, but do not affect comparability of the variable. As always, data users should use the prescribed IHIS weights.
