Description
For sample persons age 18 and older who ever knew anyone personally who had AIDS or the AIDS virus, AIDKNOPREF reports if the person refused to say if the person she/he knew personally was a co-worker, friend, relative, or someone else.

Universe
- 1993: Half of sample persons age 18+ in quarters 3 and 4 (excluded from Y2K supplement) who ever knew anyone personally who had AIDS or the AIDS virus.
