Description
For persons age 18 and older in 1988-1995 who have children aged 10 to 17, and, in 1987, persons age 18 and older who reported when they last saw, heard, or read something about AIDS or ever heard of AIDS and have children aged 10 to 17, AIDEDHOME indicates if the person has ever discussed AIDS with any of her/his children aged 10 to 17.

Universe
- 1987: Sample persons age 18+ in quarter 3 (5th week) and quarter 4 who reported when they last saw, heard, or read something about AIDS or who ever heard of AIDS and who have children age 10 to 17.
- 1988: Sample persons greater than or equal to 18 years of age in quarters 2 through 4 who have children age 10 to 17.
- 1989-1991: Sample persons greater than or equal to 18 years of age who have children age 10 to 17.
- 1992: Half of sample persons greater than or equal to 18 years of age who have children age 10 to 17.
- 1993: Half of sample persons greater than or equal to 18 years of age in quarters 3 and 4 (excluded from Y2K supplement) who have children age 10 to 17.
- 1994-1995: Half of sample persons greater than or equal to 18 years of age (excluded from Y2K supplement) who have children age 10 to 17.
