Description
For sample children ages 12-17, VICCYBULLY indicates whether they have been a victim of cyberbullying in the last 12 months. In recognition of the emerging importance of bullying victimization on the health of adolescents, NCHS introduced VICCYBULLY to the NHIS in 2021 as one of three variables on bullying. The bullying variables introduced on the 2021 NHIS were adapted from the Youth Risk Behavior Surveillance System (YRBSS).
