Description

For sample adults who worked for pay at a job or business last week, had a job or business last week but were temporarily absent, or worked but not for pay at a family-owned job or business or who last worked in the last 12 months, EARNCHG reports how much the respondent’s earnings changed from month to month. Respondents were asked if their earnings change not at all, a small amount, a moderate amount, or a large amount.

This is one of a series of questions on adult occupational health sponsored in 2021 by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). For more information on these variables, see the variable description tab for EMPLTAX.
