For sample persons aged 18 and older who have ever worked but are not currently working, TIMESINLWNO reports the length of time (in number) since the person last worked at a civilian job. This variable was included in the 1988 Occupational Health supplement.
Users should combine TIMESINLWNO with TIMESINLWTP, which reports time period for the number in TIMESINLWNO, to get complete information on the amount of time since the person last worked at a civilian job.
