Description
For sample persons ages 18 and over who live with at least three other adult family members, PXADULT3 reports the person number for the third household adult, whose drinking status is proxy reported by the sample person in DRINKADULT3. Other characteristics of this adult can be linked using the NHIS person number (PX). The person was able to report the past year drinking status of up to six adult household members.
