For sample adults and sample children between the ages of 4 and 17 in 2012, COMBOOKP reports the amount paid for self-help books or other materials used to learn about chiropractic/osteopathic manipulation.
COMBOOKP is part of a series of variables from the 2012 supplements on Complementary and Alternative Medicine. In that year, respondents were asked about their use of chiropractic/osteopathic manipulation and other modalities of alternative medicine.
