Description
For sample adults and children in 2012 whose visits to a practitioner for chelation therapy in the past 12 months were (at least partly) covered by health insurance, CHEPORT reports whether all or just some of the cost of seeing a practitioner for chelation therapy was covered by health insurance.
Chelation therapy was one of many alternative health treatment modalities included in the Alternative Health Supplements.

Field representatives were advised to "feel free to offer [this definition] even if the respondent has not requested [it]."
