Description
For female sample persons who have never had a mammogram, or who have had a mammogram but not in the past 3 years, MAMYNOEV3YR reports the most important reason why she has never/not had a mammogram in the past few years.

Comparability
Apart from changes in the universe and in the response categories, there are no comparability issues. Changes in survey design (e.g., quarters in which the information was collected) may affect raw frequencies, but do not affect comparability of the variable. As always, data users should use the prescribed IHIS weights.
Universe
- 1987: Half of female sample persons age 40+ (excluded from CAEP supplement) who have ever heard of mammogram but have not had a mammogram, or who have had a mammogram but not in the past 3 years.
- 1990: Female sample persons age 35+ who have never had a mammogram, or haven't had a mammogram in the last 3 years, or for whom the date of last mammogram was unknown.
- 1992: Half of female sample persons age 30+ in quarters one and two and in 2 weeks of quarter 3 (excluded from CAEP supplement) who have heard of a mammogram but have never had a mammogram OR who have had a mammogram but not in the past 3 years.
