Description

For sample persons over age 40 who have ever heard of a blood stool test but have not had a blood stool test in the past three years or have never had one, BSTYNOT reports the main reason for not having a blood stool test (ever or in the past three years).

Comparability

This variable has no comparability issues.

Universe

  • 1992: Half of sample persons persons age 40+ in quarters 1 and 2 and 2 weeks of quarter 3 (excluded from CAEP supplement) who have ever heard of a blood stool test but have not had a blood stool test or who have had a blood stool test but not in the past 3 years.
