Comparability
This variable is comparable over time except for the meaning of the "other" category. Beginning in the 2015 Cancer Module, only the ten most common types of cereal were offered as separate codes and all other types were grouped into "other" (code 326). In 2010, codes for more than 300 types of cereal were available, and the "other" code was reserved for cases in which the respondent did not specify a type of cereal.
