Description

CTSWKCFILEV indicates if the sample person ever filed a workers' compensation claim for their carpal tunnel syndrome. This inquiry was directed at sample adults age 18 years and over who are currently employed (EMPSTATSA) or employed at some time in the past 12 months (EMPSTATWKYR) who reported having carpal tunnel syndrome in the past 12 months (CTSYR) who were first diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome at age 15 or older (CTS1STAGE).

Sample persons who acknowledged filing for workers' compensation in CTSWKCFILEV were asked a follow-up question indicating if they ever received workers' compensation for their carpal tunnel syndrome (CTSWKCGOTEV).
