Description
For sample adults age 18 and over who are currently employed or were employed at some time in the past 12 months, who still have asthma, and who were either at least age 16 when asthma was diagnosed (or whose age at time of diagnosis was unknown), or were diagnosed with asthma under age 16 and whose asthma has gotten worse as an adult, ASTHWKCGOTEV reports whether or not they have ever received worker's compensation for asthma. To see whether the respondent had filed a worker's compensation claim for asthma, refer to ASTHWKCFILEV.
Universe
- 2010: Sample adults age 18+ who are currently employed or were employed at some time in the past 12 months, who still have asthma, and who were either at least age 16 when asthma was diagnosed (or whose age at time of diagnosis was unknown), or were diagnosed with asthma under age 16 and whose asthma has gotten worse as an adult, AND who had filed a worker's compensation claim for their asthma.
