For sample adults age 18 and older who knew what stress was, STRESCUTOTH reports whether the sample person has consciously taken any other steps to control or reduce stress in his/her life, besides seeking help from family members or relatives, friends, neighbors, peers, medical doctors, psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, other mental health professionals, religious counselor, support group at work, Alcoholics Anonymous, National Alliance for the Mentally Ill, or other self-help groups.
