Description

For persons with at least one reported foot problem during the past twelve months who still have this problem(s), PODCONCARE reports whether the foot problem was severe enough for the person to consider getting medical treatment.

PODCONCARE was introduced in 1990 as part of the NHIS Podiatry Supplement. The purpose of this supplement is to obtain current data concerning problems with the feet, access to foot care, and the amount, frequency, and type of foot care obtained.
