Description
For persons who reported at least one foot problem during the past 12 months, who still have the problem, and who considered getting professional care for the problem, but did not actually get medical care for their foot problem during the past 12 months, PODINSWPAY reports whether or not the person was covered by insurance for foot treatment.
PODINSWPAY was introduced in 1990 as part of the NHIS Podiatry Supplement. The purpose of this supplement is to obtain current data concerning problems with the feet, access to foot care, and the amount, frequency, and type of foot care obtained.
