Description
For all sample persons with a second health insurance plan which is a private plan with a deductible over $1,100 for an individual or $2,200 for a family, HIP2SAVACC indicates whether the respondent's second plan has a health savings/reimbursement account. The accounts are sometimes referred to as Health Savings Accounts (HSAs), Health Reimbursement Accounts (HRAs), Personal Care accounts, Personal Medical funds, or Choice funds, and are different from Flexible Spending Accounts.
Universe
- 2007-2013; 2014 2015 2016 2017 2018: Persons with a second health insurance plan which is a private plan with a high deductible.
- 2021-2023: Sample adults 18+ with private health insurance who have or do not know if they have a high deductible for plan 2.
