Description
For persons who have lost all of their upper teeth (NOTEETH), FALSTTHUP indicates whether or not the person has upper plates (dentures).
FALSTTHUP is part of the Dental Care Supplement and is first available in 1989. Information on lower dentures is recorded in FALSTTHLOW. In earlier years, the type of dentures use is recorded in FALSTYPE for persons who had lost all of their teeth.
