Description
For sample children, VDIFDISTANCE indicates whether individual needs glasses or contacts "to read road and street signs, see the blackboard, play sports, watch TV, or see things in the distance." Please see the Universe tab for more information on changes in universe over time.
This variable is included in the Sample Child Vision Supplement, sponsored by the National Eye Institute.
