Description
For sample persons age 18 and older, AIDCARER indicates how likely the person thinks it is that a person will get AIDS, or the AIDS virus, from being cared for by a nurse, doctor, dentist, or other health-care worker who has the AIDS virus.

Universe
- 1991: Sample persons age 18+.
- 1992: Half of sample persons age 18+.
- 1993: Half of sample persons age 18+ in quarters 3 and 4 (excluded from Y2K supplement).
