Description

For sample persons ages 18-44, COKUSEAMT reports how often, on average, the person used cocaine during the months in the past 12 months in which she/he was using cocaine.. Response categories include: every day; 5 or 6 days each week; 3 or 4 days each week; 1 or 2 days each week; 1 to 3 days a month; did not use cocaine in the past 12 months; or, never used cocaine, not even once.
This variable is part of a series of questions on drug and alcohol use. Respondents filled this survey supplement out themselves because of the potentially personal nature of the questions included in the supplement. The interviewer was available to provide assistance if requested. The supplement includes detailed questions about cocaine (COKABUSEYR), marijuana (MJABUSEYR), and general questions about use of hallucinogens, inhalants, heroin, painkillers, sedatives, stimulants, and tranquilizers.
