Description
For sample persons ages 18-44, MJFREQ reports how often, on average the person used marijuana during the months when she/he used marijuana in the past 12 months. Response categories include: every day, 5 or 6 days each week, 3 or 4 days each week, 1 or 2 days each week, 1 to 3 days a month, or did not use marijuana in the past 12 months or ever.
This variable is part of a series of questions on drug and alcohol use. Sample persons filled this survey supplement out themselves because of the potentially personal nature of the questions included in the supplement. The interviewer was available to provide assistance if requested. The supplement includes detailed questions about cocaine (COKABUSEYR), marijuana (MJABUSEYR), and general questions about use of hallucinogens, inhalants, heroin, painkillers, sedatives, stimulants, and tranquilizers.
