Description

For sample persons age 18 and older who are current everyday smokers and have ever quit for one day or more, CSQUITMONTH reports the month during which the person's most recent attempt to quit smoking started. When used in combination with CSQUITYEAR users can determine the length of time since the person's most recent attempt to quit smoking that lasted one day or more.

This variable has no comparability issues.
