Description
For sample persons age 12 to 21 years, this variable indicates the number of days the respondent smoked cigarettes in the past 30 days. A cigarette was respondent-defined, but interviewers were instructed not to include marijuana or cigars.
Related Variables
A similar variable, CIGDAYMOI, provides the number of days recoded into seven categories.
All respondents were also asked about the number of cigarettes smoked per day, CIGSDAYMOY.
