Description
For sample adults over age 18 who have ever smoked at least 100 cigarettes in their life and are current smokers or those who ever smoked every day for at least 6 months, CSMOKDALYG1Y reports whether the respondent smoked within the past year or one or more years ago.
It is a follow-up question to a question on the duration of time since the respondent last smoked cigarettes every day.
The length of time is provided in two variables: CSMOKDALYLNO reports the number (from 1 to 95) corresponding to the time unit (in days, weeks, months or years) provided in CSMOKDALYLTP. Respondents who indicated it was 1 year or 12 months ago were asked the question for CSMOKDALYG1Y("Was it within the past year or a year or more ago?").
Related Variables
