Description
For persons with at least one reported foot problem during the past 12 months, PODPROB1 indicates the nature of the person's first reported foot problem.
PODPROB1 is part of the NHIS Podiatry Supplement, introduced in 1990. The purpose of this supplement is to obtain current data concerning problems with the feet, access to foot care, and the amount, frequency, and type of foot care obtained.
