For persons who had a head injury with loss of consciousness in the past 12 months, who received medical care for the most recent injury of this type, and who stayed in a hospital overnight or longer because of this injury, HINJYHOSPNS reports the number of nights he or she stayed in the hospital because of this head injury. Data users may wish to use HINJYHOSPNR, which recodes the values of HINJYHOSPNS into intervals.
